Freeman Hardin Hollis, age 68, of Antioch, Tennessee, passed away on January 27, 2021 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. We will miss the ever-present twinkle in his eye and his generous, helpful heart. He's a man who would willingly help out anyone in need.

Freeman was born at Warner Robbins Air Force Base in Georgia in 1952. Freeman became a Master Sergeant in the Army National Guard and retired after 42 years of service. For the last 8 years, he enjoyed working at LSI (Landscape Services, Inc) with his sons, friends, and co-workers.

Freeman is survived by his father, Gene Hollis of Bellevue; his mother Unile H. Ladd of Nashville; his sons Nathan Hollis of Franklin, Timothy Hollis (Nikki) of Fairview, and Joseph Hollis (Katlin) of Nashville; his brothers Bobby D Reed (Cathy) of Antioch and Danny R Reed (Cynthia) of The Villages in Florida; Freeman adored being "Grampy Wampy" to his six spunky grandkids. We are all grateful for his example of loving well and giving without restraint. The world could use more people with a heart like his.

Celebration of life service will be at 4 PM on Monday February 1, 2021 at Grace Chapel 3279 Southall Rd. Franklin, Tennessee 37064. There will also be a live stream of the service at www.gracechapel.net.
