George J. Holland, 87, passed away December 10, 2021 at TriStar Skyline Hospital, Nashville, TN.
George was born on July 29, 1934, in Davidson County to the late James Melvin and Mary Frances Jacob Holland. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his sisters, Melvine, Mildred and Mary Katherine.
He was a loving and devoted husband of fifty-seven years, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. George was a family man and loved the Lord. He was known by all as a hard worker and a prankster to the end. One of his favorite sayings was: I told you I loved you and I ain’t telling you again.
Those left to cherish George’s memory are his loving wife, Reoma; children, Ronda (Ken), Randy (Natosha) and Rebecca (Rick); grandchildren, Christina, Regina, Melody (Joses), Crystal (Wesley), Cayla (Zac), Robert, Shelina, Patrick, Samantha, Chapel, Holley (James) and Koda; great-grandchildren, CJ, Hailey, Ashlyn, Emily, Christian, Jase, Addisyn, Landyn, Kailyn, Holdyn, Wyatt, Brylei, Luis, Brandon, Lilian, Raylan, Jaxon, Johnny, Jude and Caecilia.
Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in the Garden of Prayer. All services will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN. 37221.
Pallbearers will be Randy Holland, Lee West, Zac Puckett, Koda Roberts, Chase Johnson and Danny Webb.
