Survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Baird; children, Tracey Kruse (Keith), Mandy Lindsey (Kevin) and Chris Baird (Faydra Hollis); grandchildren, Kayla Kruse, Katie Kruse, Austin Lindsey, Brooke Lindsey, Brendan Levitt and Alex Hollis; mother, Myrtle Baird; brothers, Jim Baird (Linda), Randy Baird (Ann) and Larry Adkins (Betty); sister, Dora Ferrell (Wayne).

Preceded in death by his father, James Horace Baird.

He retired from Ford Glass Plant and was a Shriner. He was an avid golfer and loved to fish.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 and 12 -1 p.m. on Saturday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
