Gerald Edick, Jr.

Born in Ravenna, Ohio on September 3, 1933

Departed on December 11, 2013 and resided in Franklin, TN

Gerald (Gary) Edick passed away after a long struggle with breast cancer. Born in Garrettsville, Ohio, he went on to graduate from Kent State University, served in the Air Force as a fighter pilot and later became a sales manager. He was a treasured husband and best friend to his wife, Maureen, loving father to Conni Thomas (John), Victoria Whipple Edick (Tom) and Sheri Vest; beloved grandfather to Ryan Vest, Matthew, Lauren and Kelley Thomas, cherished brother of Jacqueline Edick Janka and devoted friend to Colin and Laura Shea.

Later he became President of the Franklin, TN, Cool Springs Kiwanis, former Commander of Brentwood Post 156, JROTC Chairman of the local Military Officer's Assoc. of America and an active realtor.

A memorial service will be held at Bethlehem United Methodist Church at 1 PM on January 4, 2014.
