Glenn A. Meadows age 73, passed away peacefully with his family beside him on July 7, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Phyllis Meadows
Survived by his loving wife, Shelley Meadows; daughter, Melissa Duncan; sons, Tim Meadows and Andrew Nason; grandsons, Jonah and Marshall Duncan (his pride and joy); his sister Dale (Bill) Enders and niece, nephew and cousins.
Glenn was a loving husband, father, and friend. He was a huge Predators hockey fan and enjoyed going to games with his grandsons.
A New York native, Glenn graduated from GA Tech and made his way to Nashville a few years later. He was one of Nashville’s most sought-after country music engineers and received 2 Grammys during his years at Masterfonics.
Glenn was an ardent supporter of the Nashville Audio Engineering Society (AES)section. In 2011 his contributions to the AES and the industry were recognized with the Fellowship Award and then in 2019 with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
For many years, Glenn volunteered at the Life Recovery Program at the Nashville Rescue Mission, where he ran the sound at the Coffee House. He also volunteered with OneGenAway, a nonprofit that provides free food to the needy.
There will be a Memorial Gathering Saturday, August 20, from 2:30 ~ 3:30 with a
Celebration of Life at 3:30 all at The Pavilion at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090
