Gray Dudley Sands, Jr., 69 Years old. Passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born 6/13/44 in Old Hickory TN. Son of Gray D. Sands, SR and Eva Jaynes Sands.

Survived by wife Candace and daughters Michelle Sands and AmberVeach and her husband Chris

Gray graduated from DuPont High School in 1962. He obtained his advanced degrees from Vanderbilt and the University of Tennessee. He had an interesting career with General Electric, Heil Quaker, ICP and Whirlpool before becoming a personnel recruiter.

He was the Event Coordinator for the Music City Miata Club. A position he had held for years and enjoyed immensely. He was a larger than life person and will be greatly missed.
