TOTTY, Gregory Allen, Jr., 23, of Fairview, passed away January 19, 2013, after an extended battle with cancer. He was born in Nashville on February 11, 1989 to Greg & Diane Totty. Greg was a Specialist E-4 in the Army National Guard attached to the 278th Armored Calvary Regiment, serving a tour in Baghdad. He was a graduate of Independence High School. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ross and Maggie McKenzie, his brother Danny Wayne Phillips, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Janie Diane Totty of Fairview; his father, Greg Dana Totty, Sr. of Paragould, AR; grandfather, Gene Totty of Sycamore, IL; grandmother, Shirley Hill of Jonesboro, AR; brother, Joshua Katie Phillips of Nashville; and sisters, Serena Robert Smith of Eufala, OK; Amber Hill of Jonesboro, AR; and Ashley Josh Holt of Lake City, AR. Special parents, Mike and Michelle Beauman of LaVergne; brothers, Michael Stephanie Beauman of LaVergne; Zachary Donna Beauman of Jacksonville, FL; Matt Gentry, Brian Raines, and Dewayne Peden all of Fairview; numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 24, at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
