Harl Lloyd Rose of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on Thursday, September 13, 2018; he was 84 years old.
Mr. Rose was preceded in death by his parents, Felix Doris Rose and Daisy Feltner Rose; brothers Douglas, Duncan, Dewey, and Walton Rose; sister Genevieve Stagner; and great granddaughter Cadence Rose Millsap.
Survivors include his wife of 57 wonderful years, Dorothy Rose; son Mike Rose; daughter Beth Tuverson (Brian); five grandchildren, Austin Millsap, Hunter Rose, Katie Emily, and Sarah Tuverson, and Brooke Blackburn; great granddaughter Scarlett Millsap; daughter-in-law Christy Rose; sister-in-law Bonnie Rose of Dover, Tennessee; and sister-in-law Jean McWilliams of Summerset, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be family members, and the service will be officiated by Dr. Craig Goff and Reverend David Bradley.
Mr. Rose retired from Associate Financial Service after 37 years. He was a 40-year member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Franklin, TN, a member of the Howard Cope Sunday School Class, and a longtime member of the East Nashville Lyons Club.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their skill and compassionate care over the past months.
Visitation will be at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in the Pavilion on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 9:30 thru 11:30 am with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:30 am. Burial will immediately follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in the Garden of Grace.
