Hazel T. Jones, age 89, of Fairview went to be with her heavenly father Wednesday, March 18, 2020. She was born October 21, 1930 in Centerville, TN to the late James and Nannie Tyler. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Vernon Jones and son-in-law, Tommy Russell.

Hazel was a faithful servant of God who loved to read her bible. She was a lifetime member of New Hope Church of Christ.

Hazel is survived by her daughter, Brenda Russell; grandson, Scott Russell; great-grandsons, Tristyn and Laine Russell; grandson, Brian Russell (Blakeley); great-granddaughter, Isabelle Russell; great-grandson, Gus Russell; grandson, Thomas Jones (Lori); great granddaughter, Izabella Jones; great-grandson, Taylor Jones; and granddaughter, Tammy Jones.

A celebration of life graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2020 in the garden of Chapel Hill East of Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nashville Strong at Project615.org.
