Helen Baldwin Boone, born on October 25, 1928, in Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024. Helen was a cherished member of her community, known for her warmth and creativity, expressed throughout her vibrant life.
Helen's career as a florist was a true reflection of her passion, as she found great joy in floral designing. Her family often remarked on her talent, noting that she had an ability to create beauty from any material she worked with. She also enjoyed playing the organ, solving jigsaw puzzles, and tending to her garden.
Helen was a unique and independent woman, radiating beauty both inside and out. With a heart full of encouragement, she was dedicated to community growth and actively participated in the Red Hats Society. Additionally, she was a member of a bridge club, where she played alongside eight close friends for many years. Her presence was also a staple at Bellevue Fifty Forward with numerous friends.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, David Lee Baldwin and Emerald Swain Baldwin, brother, Robert Baldwin, and her sister, Marilee Baldwin Williams.
She is survived by her loving children, Daniel (Gayle) Boone, Linda (Charles) Consolvo, Bill Boone, and Terri (Michael) Shepard, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Nashville, Tennessee. It is scheduled for September 6, 2024, at 12:30 PM, with family invited to share in this moment of remembrance.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Judson Jewels of Judson Baptist Church located at: 4900 Franklin Road, Nashville, Tennessee.
