Age 81, of Nashville, passed away January 31, 2017.

Herb was a kind and big hearted husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather. He taught his family what it meant to put others before themselves by sincerely giving his time, knowledge and resources to help others. He was a great example of being a man of God. Herb served as an officer in the army for 2 years, of which he spent a year serving in Korea. After being honorably discharged, he dedicated 38 years to RCA before Retiring.
Preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth McKernan Keilman & Herbert Jacob Keilman. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Joan Keilman; children, Debby Keilman & Mary Perry (Robert); grandchildren, Shawn Johnson (Sandy) & Derrick Johnson (Rebecca); great-grandchildren, Alexz Johnson, Link Johnson, Ethan Johnson & William Johnson.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Disabled Veterans of America.

A Life Celebration will be held 11:30am, Monday, February 6th at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. The Reverend Joseph Patrick Breen will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2:00pm -5:00pm, Sunday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN, 37221 harpethhills.com, 615-646-9292
