Huong Vu

Born in Ninh Binh Phat Diep, Vietnam on August 14, 1930

Departed on November 10, 2018 and resided in Nashville, Tennessee

Huong Vu passed away at her home on November 10, 2018 in Nashville, TN at the age of 88.
Mrs. Vu is survived by husband Dinh Phan of almost 70 years; children Tam (Khang), Minh, Binh (Hue), Duc, My-Linh, Dac (Dorothy), Dinh (Hoang), To-Linh (Andrew), and Dong (Tung); 19 grandchildren; and siblings, Thinh (Thom), Vuong (Yen), Ngoc-Bich (Luot), Chinh. She is preceded in death by her parents Thong and Vy.
Huong was born in 1930 in Ninh Binh Phat Diep, Vietnam. The family fled from the communists in 1954 and made a new home in Da-Lat, Viet Nam and later came to the United States with her family in 1975.
Huong was an accomplished business woman and a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Her faith in God through the Catholic Church and her family were everything to her.
A funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday, November 15 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Fr. Andrew Bulso will celebrate the Mass.
Visitation will be held at St. Henry Catholic Church from 4:00 - 6:00 on the evening of Wednesday, November 14 followed by a rosary at 6:00 pm.
