Imogene King Jones Mullins, age 85, passed away at her home in the South Harpeth community on July 17, 2020. Born November 16, 1934 in Nashville to the late Charlie Davis King and Katherine Cartwright King. Preceded in death by husbands Ernest Aaron Jones and Don Mullins; brother James H. King. Survived by sons Bradley Aaron (Phoebie) Jones, Wendell King (Sue Anne) Jones, and Russell Wayne (Andrea) Jones; grandchildren Evan (Jennifer) Jones, Cuyler (Leilani) Jones, Susannah (Ben) Steele, Hayden (Brittany) Jones, MacLaren (Abigail) Jones, Amanda (Jareth) Baldwin, and Rachel (Blake) Bunn; great-grandchildren Irene and Dean Jones, Cameron and Marshall Jones, Clayton, Titus, Lydia, Judah, and River Steele, Kyrian Jones, and Tommy Baldwin. Imogene was a 1952 graduate of Bellevue High School and employed by Metro Nashville Public Schools. She was a lifelong member of South Harpeth Church of Christ where her Celebration of Life will be held 11am Monday, July 20, with John Cantrell officiating. Visitation Sunday, July 19, 1-4:30 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church. Private burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice. Special thanks to Roxie Jones and the Band of Angels for their years of compassionate care. Her children rise up and call her blessed.
