Irene Dillingham

 In loving memory of Irene Dillingham, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Irene passed away in Primm Springs, TN.

Preceded in death by parents Ignacio and Eleanor Alesna; grandson Jared Joyce; son in law Frank Owens; brothers David Alesna, Greg Alesna, and sister Evelyn Alesna. 

Survived by her loving husband Earl “Jack” Dillingham; son Billy (Angie) Tomlinson; daughters, Denise (Gary) Blair, Jeanne (Charlie) Boner, Tina (Sid) Evans, Penny Owens, Amanda (Daniel) Bates; stepchildren, Randy (Lisa) Dillingham, Brian (April) Dillingham, Suzanne Dillingham, Jackie (Alan) Russell, blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; brother, Ted (Geri) Alesna and sister, Charlotte Alesna. 

Irene dedicated many years of her life to her passion for sewing and craftsmanship. Additionally, she spent over two decades of her career at Baird-Ward Printing before eventually retiring.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Irene found joy in various hobbies. She had a deep love for gardening and traveling. Family events were always close to her heart, where she could often be found surrounded by loved ones, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, especially her heavenly banana pudding and potato salad. She also enjoyed riding around with her husband Jack.
 
 Speaking of Jack, their bond was a testament to enduring love and companionship, a beacon of light through life's ups and downs sharing over 45 years together.
 
 Irene Dillingham will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. Her kindness and unwavering love have left a mark on the hearts of many.
 
Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2024 from 4:00pm ~ 8:00pm and Tuesday, March 19, from 9:30am ~ 11:30am with a Celebration of Life at 11:30am. The burial will immediately follow at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221. The reception will be held at Battle Mountain Farm from 2:00pm ~ 6:00pm 6917 Arno-Allisona Rd, College Grove, TN 37046.
