Irene McCord - Age 85, of Dickson, passed away July 17, 2018 at home.
Irene was a loving woman that was always ready to go. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books, reading a good novel and most of all spending time with family. She worked for many years and retired from what is now known as, France Lighting Solutions.
Preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Johnny Hayes; granddaughter, Crystal Kemper; sisters, June Ivey & Christine Evans; brother, William Hayes. Survived by her husband of 64 years, Reece McCord; children, Juanita Jolly (Steve), Melvin Reece McCord (Kelly) and Joanna Lynn Tewalt; 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, June Brown; brother, Oscar Hayes (Glenda); several nieces, nephews and extended family.
