J. Kenneth Tidwell, age 80, of Bon Aqua Tennessee went to be with his heavenly father Wednesday, September 9, 2020. He was born March 24, 1940 in Sylvia, Tennessee to the late Raymond and Lorene Tidwell. Kenneth is also preceded in death by his sister, Ann Winn.

Kenneth attended New Hope Baptist Church with his wife of 56 years, Joy Tidwell. He loved to do anything outdoors, including quail hunting, and fishing. Kenneth was a member of Centerville Masonic Lodge #618. He was a huge Cincinnati Reds Baseball fan and enjoyed playing baseball and softball.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Joy Tidwell; daughter, Holly Hill (Jason); granddaughter, Caitlin Hill; grandson, Gabriel Hill; nephew, Nick Winn; brother-in-law, Richard Winn; sisters-in-law, Veeda Mayberry and Charlesta Litton.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5-8 p.m. and Monday from 1-2 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel. Interment will follow in the Garden of Cross of Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
