Jackie Rhena Brown, passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 53 in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was born on July 30, 1971. With her lively spirit, Jackie was a fiery firecracker who loved with her whole heart and lived life to the fullest.
Preceding her in death are her brother, Gordon Tanksley; sister, Peggy King; and father, Jackie Rhea Tanksley.
She is survived by her fiancé, Jeremiah Pewitt, her two children, Allen (Amanda McCullough) Brown and Staci (David) Conner; grandchildren Leelynn Conner, Reagan Conner, and Isaiah Conner; sister, Terri (Adam) Gilliam, and her mother, Brenda Bobo, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones
Known for her bubbly personality, Jackie expressed herself freely and boldly—she had no trouble sharing her thoughts, often bringing smiles and laughter wherever she went. Her love for life was contagious.
Jackie’s greatest joys were her grandchildren, Leelynn, Reagan, and Isaiah. There was nothing she cherished more than playing and creating memories with them Thanksgiving was a particular favorite for Jackie—a time when she could showcase her cooking talents and gather everyone around the table, sharing not just a meal but also stories and laughter.
Jackie Rhena Brown's spirit, fierce love, and vivacious nature will be missed by all who knew her. A smile, a heartfelt laugh, and a wild, free spirit—she touched lives in ways that will not be forgotten, leaving a legacy of love and joy.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 12:30- 1:30 with a Celebration of Life at 1:30pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. The burial will follow atTaylor Cemetery Franklin TN 37064.
