ANDERSON, Jacquelyn Marie Balthrop , 84, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted by Bro. A.M. Burton and Bro. Randall Pardue on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the chapel of Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., as well as one hour before Saturday's service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation, 310 25th Avenue North, Suite 103, Nashville, 37203. Born September 12, 1927, in Pleasant View, TN, she was the daughter of the late Gladys & Paul Balthrop. She was a long-time supporter of the Arts in Nashville, with a particular love of both Cheekwood and the Nashville Symphony. In 1950, she married Robert J. Anderson, Jr. They had two sons, Robert J. Anderson, III, and Ronald Perry Anderson. For many years, Jackie co-operated Evelyn Anderson Galleries in Nashville, with her mother-in-law, the late Evelyn M. Anderson. Jackie is preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Anderson, Jr., her son Robert J. Anderson, III, and brothers, Perry and Paul Balthrop. She is survived by her son Ronald Perry Anderson, granddaughters Jennifer Anderson Muhlbach Dan, Dr. Megan Anderson, and Veronica Anderson. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Nancy H. Anderson Robert, and granddaughters Paige and Leigh Anderson. Jackie was also the proud great-grandmother of Anden, Hudson, and Piper Muhlbach. Active pallbearers are John Herb, Everett Holzapfel, Dan Muhlbach, Terry Oaks, Richard Sittel, and Taylor C. Sutherland. Honorary pallbearers are Herschel Bradley, Bill Cox and Corky Warner.
