James E. Allen, 79 of Kingston Springs, TN went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2016.

James was born in Charlotte, TN on May 4, 1937, son to the late Marlin & Omay Allen.

He was preceded in death by his brother Charles Allen

Survivors include his girlfriend of 20 years, Dot Wilson; children; James (Brenda) Allen, Noel Allen, Linda Wolcott, Fay Hayward, Kay Lockart & Ellamay Morgan; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of James's life will be conducted on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 3:00 pm with an hour visitation prior to service.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
