James was born on March 16, 1948 in Dearborn, Michigan to the late Ewin "Pappy" & Ruth Bryan.
James retired from Ford Glass Plant after 31 years of dedicated service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 37 Years, Yvonne Bryan, children; James Richard (Aprele) Bryan II, & Anna Ruth Bryan, sister; Nancy Barton, brother; Larry Bryan and grandson; James Marcus Bryan.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 5 pm - 8 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of James's life will be conducted on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 11 am with an hour visitation prior to service.
Interment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
