Preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Bryant; parents, Ed and Audrey Bryant; sisters, Mary Davis, Marie Bryant, Ruth Jones, Frances Gammon, Margaret Gibbs; brothers, Floyd Sanders and Hardy Bryant. He is survived by his son, Jim Reed (Tonya); grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Reed; great-grandson, Brantley Reed; sister, Edna Davis; nieces and nephews, David Bryant, James T. Davis, Clay Gibbs, Steve Jones, Donald Jones, Tommy Jones, Douglas Gammon, Ronnie Gammon, Peggy Miller, Cindy Dickinson, Michelle Joyner, Aimee Dickinson, McKae Dickinson, Natasha French and Cheryl Moss.

He retired from Ford Glass Plant. He was an American Legion and a member of UAW 737.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 14 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
