James Edison Cary, age 73 of Brentwood, TN went home to be with His Lord on Monday, November 23, 2015.

Ed was born on February 9, 1942 in Clarksville, TN. He grew up in Erin, TN and was the son of the late Bill and Jennie Cary. In 1964, he graduated from The University of Tennessee. He was a home builder for many years and a real estate appraiser. He and his son, Bill, established The Cary Group-a very successful appraisal company.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Patricia Swift Cary; sons, Bill Cary (Emily); Jim Cary (Dana); grandchildren, Walker, Avery, and Abbie; sister, Jennie Lew Lawrence (Larry), and nieces Michele Lawrence (Mike), Danielle Lawrence (Mark), and great nephew Liam.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Ed's life will be conducted at
2:00 pm.
