James W. Duckett, age 82 of Fairview, TN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2103.
Mr. Duckett was born July 16, 1931 in Louisville, KY to the late Claude & Margerette Duckett
He was preceded in death by his wife Ida Maxine Duckett and daughter Sandra Kay Sylvester.
Survivors include his children; Connie Sue Fix and James R. Duckett, grand children; Melissa Fix Macer, Crystal Cothern, Robert Balthrop and Brittany Dix, Richard Louis Parker III, Paul Fix, and Sarah Rose Duckett, nine great grandchildren with two on the way, and close family friend Lori Donegan .
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Jim's life will be conducted on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM with an hour visitation prior to service.
Interment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
