James “Jimmy” Allen- Age 96, of Nashville, passed away April 18, 2021.
Jimmy was a loving and God fearing man. He was a member of St. John’s United Methodist church for many years. He enjoyed playing his guitar, checkers, going to family events and most of all taking care of his family.
Preceded in death by wife of 66 years, Littie Lou Kelley Allen; sisters Louise Bradford and Beatrice “Bea” DeBeneditto. Survived by his children Dianne Bravo (Daniel) and Jackie Adams; grandchildren Jennifer Leonard (Robert), Woody Massey, Cindy Lucente (Brock), James Adams, David Adams (Josie); 9 great-grandchildren; brother Charles Andrew Allen (Louise).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John’s United Methodist Church.
A Life Celebration will be held 11:30am, Friday April 23rd. Visitation will be 4-6pm, Thursday and 10:30-11:30am, Friday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN, 37221, 615-646-9292, harpethhills.com
