Age 69, of Nashville, TN, passed away October 10, 2018.

James spent 19 years as the Clinical Director of the Men's Program at Cumberland Heights. His own personal recovery, that spanned decades, was paralleled only by the love and energy he put into patients and friends alike struggling with alcohol and drug addictions. His life's work will be remembered by the thousands he touched who are now, in turn, helping others themselves. He indeed walked the walk in selflessly helping other's lives.

Preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Bragg Luna & Waymon E. Luna. Survived by his wife of 15 years, Dawn Luna; daughter, Ruby Bentle (Bradley); grandchildren, Timothy Brummond, Lisa Brummond, Tabitha Bentle, Lela Bentle & Beth Bentle; sister, Connie Bowers; nephew, Neil Bowers; great-nephew, Tristan William Bowers; several extended family and friends.

A Life Celebration will be held 2:30pm, Saturday, Oct 20th at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in the chapel with a reception to follow from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at The Pavilion at Harpeth.
