NASHVILLE - Age 96, WWII Navy veteran and marathon runner, passed away on December 8, 2018. He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Goldie Larson Southard. "Lucky Jimmy" is survived by three sons, Stuart S. Southard (Lisa) of Nashville, Roy Southard of Chandler, AZ, and Drew Southard of Annapolis, MD, four beloved grandchildren, Shannon Harris (Tommy), Sara Beth Cline (Andy), Sloane Southard (Emily) and Whitney Sorensen (Taylor), two step-grandsons, Michael and Will Brown, and eleven great grandchildren: Rylan, Levi, Anne Clare, Ty, Ella, Quinn, Judah, Arie, Wendy, Boone, and Lars, all of Nashville, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to New Hope Academy in Franklin, Tennessee or Alive Hospice of Nashville.
