James "Don" Canady

James “Don” Canady age 83 of Nashville Tennessee, passed away on September 7, 2021. Preceded in death by parents Curtis and Dorothy Canady, brother Carl Cochran.

Survived by loving wife of 56 years, Carol Canady, daughter Beth McDaniel, son Billy Canady, granddaughters Copeland Canady, Emma, Sydney, and Lily McDaniel, grandson Lawson Canady, sister Wilma Orton, sister-in-law Floy Cochran.

Don was a hard-working man that loved to be outside. He always stayed busy, loved cutting the grass and enjoyed helping others and volunteering his time. Don retired from Bellsouth after working there for 35+ years. He was a member of Berry’s Chapel Church of Christ.

There will be visitation Friday September 10, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm and Saturday 9:30am-10:00am with a Celebration of Life graveside service at 10:00am all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville Tennessee.
