Janice Fisher Potts
Ashland City/ Pegram- Age 84, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2021. She was born October 9,1936 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Preceded in death by: Husband- Edward T. Potts, Sr., Ashland City, TN, father- Carney M. Fisher, mother-Della Coleman Fisher, brother, Ronald J. Fisher, sister- Neona Fisher Satterwhite, sister- Phyllis Landers, all of Nashville.
She is survived by loving family Kerri (Tim) Balthrop, Ashland City, TN, Eddie (Linda) Potts, Ashland City, TN; granddaughters, Rachel (Josh) Stuart, Ashland City, TN; Lindsey Balthrop, Nashville; grandsons, Brad (Hannah) Potts, Cookeville; Mitchell (Marissa Baysinger) Potts, Nashville; great-grandchildren, Drake Mason Potts; Draper G. Potts; Jace Edward Stuart; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church in Pegram and Ashland City. She was a member of Cheatham County Master Gardeners. She retired after 25 years of service with Tennessee Department of Transportation, Planning, and Development Division. Throughout her life, she shared many interests with family and friend. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, boating, fishing, and gardening.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to mom’s caregivers for the past 2 years at Vantage Point Village Assisted Living and Memory Care, for the continual loving care, attention and dedication. Also, to Hospice who were there for her final journey here on earth.
Family and friends are invited to share memories during visitation from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm, on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home and Memory Gardens and on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 10:30 am until 11:30 am with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:30 am. Burial will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
