Janie Sue Rowland Carden, age 74 of Nashville, TN went to her heavenly home on Friday, March 27, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillie Belle Rowland; husband, Earmon (Bud) Carden; brothers, Vernon David and Tommy Rowland; sister, Georgia "Kathy" Buttrey; grandchild, Katherine Farmer & great grandchild, Jordan Carden.

Survived by; son, Steve (Della) Carden of Allons, TN; daughter, Stephanie Farmer (Jimmy Gray) of Ashland City, TN; brother, George (Mary) Rowland; sister, Irene (Sonny) Williams; special friends, Betty Walker and Tina Lane; grandchildren, Kasondra Farmer, John ( Kacey) Simmons, Natasha Carden, Valarie (Wesley) Glass, Kristi Lewis, Kaysha (Graham) Sells, Sarah, Ashley and John Fultz and Tanner Gray; great grandchildren: Mackenzie and Jasmine Simmons, Xavier and Iysis Glass, DJ and Elijah Baker, Emma Lee Lewis, Matilda Sells and Little Man Farmer and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends as well as our loving and dedicated church family at James Avenue Church of Christ. A special thanks to the Staff at Alive Hospice and Dr. Angelo Canonico and Staff.

The family will receive friend on Sunday March 29, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Janie's life will be conducted on Monday at 11:30 am.

Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills memory Gardens.
