J.B. Frizzell

J.B. Frizzell, has passed away at the age of 95 in Nashville, TN. He was born in Granville TN on October 2, 1928.

J.B. leaves behind his daughter Debbie (James) Morris; son Bobby (Judy) Frizzell; grandchildren Rachel (Bryan) Turner, Rebecca (Rory) Jones, Nathan (Andrea) Morris, Sarah (Jacob) Wright, Katelyn Morris; great-grandchildren Mason, Callie, Colt, Mackenzie, Adalyn, Julianna, Parker, Nathaniel, Peyton, Paxton; brother Thelbert (Margie) Frizzell and sister Becky Snow.

He is now reunited with his loving wife of 65 years Juanita Frizzell; sisters Dot (George) Bess and Loretta Dishner, as well as his parents Robert and Lillian Frizzell who preceded him in death.

J.B. was not only known for his long-standing career as a butcher at H.G Hill but also for his service in the Army with deployments to Korea. His dedication extended beyond work and into his hobbies; he found joy in fishing and tending to his vegetable garden, especially okra and tomatoes. J.B. had a passion for feeding others and was renowned for baking the most delicious coconut cake.

A devout member of Central Church of Christ, J.B.'s commitment was unwavering as he served as an Elder for over 40 years. His impact on the community and church will be remembered for generations to come.

The visitation will begin on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 3:00pm ~ 7:00pm and on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 10:30am ~ 11:30am with a Celebration of Life at 11:30am all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in Nashville, TN. 

In remembrance of J.B. Frizzell's remarkable life filled with love, faithfulness, and dedication to others. He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
