Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on March 18, 1954
Departed on December 29, 2014 and resided in Nashville, Tennessee
After a tenacious fight befitting her feisty personality, at the too young age of 60, our beloved and beautiful "Jeannie" left us today to join the chorus of Karaoke-singing angels in Heaven.
Small in stature, but with a heart larger than life and full of love for her husband, daughter, grandchildren, and numerous family and friends, she enjoyed nothing more than spending quality time with them at her family's waterside retreats at Center Hill Lake, Tennessee, and Ft. Myers Beach, Florida.
Born with the dual gifts of wicked wit and immense intelligence, she was a natural entertainer and superb actress and vocalist, widely acclaimed for starring roles in multiple high school musical productions, At a young age she relocated to Nashville from Michigan, with the dream of pursuing a musical career. Instead, cupid intervened when she met Roy, the love of her life, and together they welcomed daughter, Seana. Rather than on the Opry stage, she made excellent life-long use of her extraordinary musical and hospitality talents on the "stage of life", and was readily acknowledged by one and all as the life of every party. The more the merrier.
Jeannie is survived by Roy E. Beeler, her loving husband of 40 years; his son, Glenn Beeler; their daughter, Katherine Seana Beeler Holloway; and three precious grandchildren; Matthew Beeler, and Skyler and Kaileigh Holloway, as well as a host of family and friends far too numerous to mention by name for fear of unintentionally leaving someone out.
She was dearly loved by all, and will live in our hearts forever.
In Heaven, she joins her parents, Guy and Betty Seymour, her sister, Mary Katherine Seymour, and her mother-in-law, Beatrice Carroll.
Jeannie's express wish was that instead of a traditional funeral, a festive celebration of her life be enjoyed by those whom she loved, and who loved her in return. Accordingly, plans are underway for a joyous warm- weather celebration on the water, to be held at a later date. Details t-b-d.
In the meantime, Jeannie's family will receive visitors on Saturday, January 3, 2015, from 1 until 4 p.m. at:
