Jean Carol Hayes age 73 passed away on December 28, 2020 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children, Lance (Fran) Hayes, Joy (Curtis) Poe, Tori Hayes and Lori (John) Russ, grandchildren, Brittanee Hayes, Corey Tapp, Donavan Brown, Dalton Gillette, Isaiah Brown, Reece Swiggett and Kennedi Brown.
Ms. Hayes loved her family. She also loved to cook and watch cooking shows. If you were to ask her children who she was, they would say she was a true Wonder Woman. She taught them how to charge forward through life when it was difficult. She was a shining example of hard work and family first. She was a mother first, always. Some of her last words were how her children were a blessing from God and how they were her world. They are evidence of her eternal love, the love of a mother and child. The love of a grandmother and grandchild.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 5-7 PM and on Thursday from 9-11 AM at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be on Thursday at 11 AM at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
