Jean L. Vandiver

Jean L. Vandiver, 92, of Nashville, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021.

She was born April 8, 1929, to the late John Jacob and Emma Mae Lewis Luke. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Vandiver.

Jean was a gentle and loving lady. She helped her late husband with wood crafts and paint. Jean had a love for gardening, clothes and jewelry. She and her daughter, Linda, had a gift shop together, where they made and sold bows, jewelry and crafts. Jean square-danced, golfed and bowled on a lady’s league.

Those left to cherish Jean’s memory are her daughters, Linda Justice and Nancy Ellis (David G. Ellis); grandchildren, Jonathan Higgs, Allison H. Ruff (Joey), Keith Ellis (Alexandra) and Scott Ellis; great-grandchildren, Madison Stancliff and Connor Ruff; sisters, Johnnie Anderson and Gail Berube.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 10, 2022, from 12:00pm-1:00pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm with Keith Roberson officiating.

Burial will follow at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caris Hospice.
