Jeanne Fisher Rudolph, age 100, of Brentwood, Tennessee passed away on Monday April 17th, 2023 with family by her side. She was born September 15th, 1922 in Nashville, Tennessee, daughter of Marie Knight Fisher and Walter Fisher. She was married 78 years to William Lewis Rudolph (deceased) of Brentwood, Tennessee. They lived in Tennessee, Kentucky, and North Carolina. Having married young, wooed by doughnuts Lewis would give her every day on the way home from school, Jeanne was deeply intwined with her family. She was the woman behind the man. She and Lewis traveled the entire United States, sometimes with family and sometimes with their motorcoach buddies. She became quite the hostess on the road with her friends. Along the way she would find a “classy” craft that she would buy them, during down time on the trip, she would make one for each married couple. Of course, that number grew significantly over the years. She also enjoyed needlepoint, once sitting in her favorite chair in the den and copying the design of their oriental rug in order to make two pillows for the couch. Most people would say that she was a true southern lady. What a legacy!
She is survived by children William Eugene Rudolph (Lucy) of Brentwood, TN, Joyce Rudolph Cope (Don) of Franklin, TN, Randall Lewis Rudolph of Franklin, TN and Retha Rudolph Church (Bob, deceased) of Franklin, TN, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
