Jeffrey Alan Mitchell, age 57 of Kingston Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 11, 2015.

Jeff was born in Nashville, TN on October 21, 1958, son to the late William & Ada Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell worked for the city of Brentwood for 38 years.

Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years Penny Mitchell; children Justin Rust & Caitlin Mitchell; 1 grandchild Billy Ray Ivey III "Buddy"; sisters Linda Howell & Naomi Polk.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Jeff's life will be conducted on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 2:30 pm with a visitation starting at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Cheatham County or Williamson County Animal Shelter in loving memory of Jeffrey Alan Mitchell.
