Jennifer Helfer peacefully departed this world surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at the age of 56. Born on January 16, 1967, in Denver, CO, she was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Ray E. and Mary Edna Helfer, and her brother, Jeffrey Helfer.
A shining example of kindness, grace, and unwavering optimism in the face of challenges, Jennifer was a beacon of positivity for everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness knew no bounds. She found joy in watching tennis, football, baseball and listening to spiritual music. A formidable card player, she had a particular fondness for 500 Rummy and Bingo. Recently, she cherished her time at Fifty Forward in Nashville, TN, where she formed numerous friendships and found a source of joy and activity.
Jennifer grew up in East Lansing, Michigan and spent approximately 15 years in the Boston area and most recently, Nashville, where she lived with her older sister, Sharon Lynn Fagenholz, and her beloved "Aunt Rosie" Stock. Affectionately known as "the Golden Girls”, they have additional family members in the Nashville area.
Jennifer is fondly remembered by her large family, including her sister Sharon Lynn, brothers Ray Helfer, Christopher Helfer, and David Helfer, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.
