Jere Clark Sinclair- passed away June 22, 2017 at the age of 87. Preceded in death by parents, Bruce and Lucille Sinclair and brother, Jack Sinclair. He is survived by his devoted wife of 15 years, Joyce "JJ" Jarratt Sinclair; children, Cindy (Jay) McGinnis, Sharon Wiggs, Ronnie Sinclair, Melinda (Mike) Nixon, stepson, Michael (Karen) Jarratt; 10 grandchildren (Preston, Ruth, Shanna, Josh, Skye, Jordan, Grace, Joe, Seth and Madeline); 2 great grandchildren (Sinclair and Annabelle).
Jere was born on June 20th, 1930 in Nashville, TN. He graduated from West End High School and the University of Tennessee before taking over the family business Keith-Sinclair Co. along with his brother Jack. Jere enjoyed life, family, travel, good food, golf and keeping up with the latest technology. He entertained everyone with his humor and stories. He was his happiest spending the past 15 years with JJ who loved and cared for him daily. His bright smile, contagious laugh and big heart will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him. The family is grateful for the wonderful team of doctors and nurses from Alive Hospice, St. Thomas West (especially 7C) and the private sitters who lovingly cared for him throughout this journey.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home followed by a family graveside service.
