Preceded in death by his parents, James Yokley and Eunice Starbuck (W.T. Starbuck); brother, J.O. Yokley.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Yokley; sons, Jay Yokley (Rich Schultz) and Baker Yokley, Jr.; sister, Jana Sue Grimes.
He was a longtime member of Brentwood Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017 and 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
