Preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Naomi Gerlach; brother, Charles Allen Gerlach.

Survived by her husband of 48 years, Joe Roberts; children, Renee Lancaster, Sandra Schade, JoAnna Newton, Lesley Plumlee and Charles Roberts; step-son, Joe Roberts III; grandchildren, Darrell Hollars, Morgan Hollars, Paige Hollars, Chelsey Schade, Caitlyn Arrington, Rachel Newton, Matthew Newton, Abigail Plumlee, Emmeline Golighty, Andrew Roberts, Cecily Roberts, Christopher Roberts, Ethan Lancaster and Lucas Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Jayden Upchurch, Ryker Schade, Raelynn Roberts, Joe Roberts V, Landon Roberts and Reece Hollars; siblings, Rockwell T. Gerlach, Marvin A. Gerlach, Pat Gerlach, Marie McCoy, Franklin Gerlach, Joe Beall Gerlach, Robert Dale Gerlach, Paula Louise Davidson and Jimmy Gerlach; she is also survived by many other family members and friends.

She loved gardening and shared her yard full of flowers with everyone. She also loved cooking and made sure no one left her home hungry.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017 and 12-2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
