James (Jim) Walter Cockerham, age 69, of Franklin, TN passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. Jim was born in Houston, TX and was preceded in death by his parents Verna and Jack Cockerham.

Jim is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jinx and his two children; Kelly Reilly (Rick) and Josh Cockerham (Tracy); brothers Don Cockerham (Cathy) and Gerald Cockerham (Mary) and sister Sharon Stanish; 5 grandchildren Jack Reilly, Kennedy Cockerham, Ryan Cockerham, Wes Reilly and Sarah Reilly whom he loved dearly.

His life was spent making others happy through his sense of humor and loving personality. He was truly a beloved friend and an avid supporter of Father Ryan High School athletics. He managed Demetros Wine Mart and Harpeth Liquors until retirement in 2011.

Honorary Pallbearers are Josh Cockerham, Rick Reilly, Don Cockerham, Gerald Cockerham, Tommy Baucom, Eric Bly, Harry Demetros, Jr. and Vic Simpson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9 from 4-7 p.m. at St. Henry Fellowship Hall, 6401 Harding Place, Nashville, TN 37205. A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, June 10 at St. Henry Church at 11:00 a.m.. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
