Jimmy Don Reid passed from this life on Sunday morning, May 3, 2015 at 9:35 a.m., surrounded by family and friends. He was a resident of Brentwood, Tennessee at the time of his passing.
He is survived by son Bobby, daughter Pam, big brother Joe, little sister Jenni, little brother Johnny, grand-daughter Julia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmy is precede in death by his wife of 45 years, Vivian, father Randall, mother Earnestine, and big sister Billie. He was born August 29, 1940, the third of five children on the family farm in the Gains community of Wilmot, Arkansas.
Jimmy was a farmer at the beginning of his life and later became a welder in the manufacturing sector after he migrated from southern Arkansas to Middle Tennessee. After retirement, Jimmy and Vivian travelled extensively until failing health prevented the pursuit of further adventures.
His passing has left a huge hole in many hearts and he will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 05, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00 p.m.
