Jimmy R. Smith

Jimmy Robert Smith age 80, of Hendersonville TN, passed away on June 23, 2022. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years Margie Lampley Smith.

Survivors include daughter; Donna (Rick) Collins, granddaughter; Kimberly (John) Skinner, grandson; Jason (Ashley) Collins, great granddaughter; Kaitlyn Stanfield, great grandson; Archie Collins and numerous loved ones.

Born April 20, 1942 in Waverly, TN to Fred and Aline Smith. Jimmy had several jobs in his early years. He retired from Metro Public works after 35 years of service. Riverwood Church of Christ was his home church, but he attended Community Church of Hendersonville after moving to Hendersonville in 2018. Jimmy loved spending his spare time fishing, hunting, collecting old coins and pocketknives, and eating cookies but above all loving his family.

Visitation will be July 1, 2022 from 10:00am ~ 2:30pm with a Celebration of Life at 2:30pm all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville TN, 37221.
