Joan Marie Fielder, 77, of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on 02/21/2021 surrounded by her family after a long battle with Dementia/ Alzheimer's. She was a strong woman of faith to which she was able to hold until the very end. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was always full of life and truly made our house a home. Her greatest pleasure and most treasured possession was her family, to whom she was dedicated. To her, family was everything!
Joan grew up in West Nashville and was a graduate of Cohn High School in Nashville, class of 1961
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Jackson Sharber and Rubye Mae (Clark) Sharber. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Billy Randall Sharber, Joy Elaine (Sharber) Thompson, and Dorris Eugene Sharber. She is survived by her beloved husband, Lelan Ray Fielder, devoted children, son, Kenneth Ray Fielder and spouse Anthony Cimino, daughter Gina Marie (Fielder) Groves and husband, Steve Groves. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cameron James Fielder, Lauren Rhea Fielder, and Hannah Marie Groves.

Visitation with the family will be at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Friday February 26, 2021 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with Funeral service to follow at 2 PM. Due to COVID-19 the family has asked that guest are required to wear facial coverings at all times.
