Joe Adams

Joe Brown Adams, January 24, 1937 – January 12, 2023, age 85. Survived by wife of 64 years, Diann Weldon Adams, father of Lynne, (Don) Anderson, Tom (Sherry) Adams, and Doug Adams; grandfather of Nathan (Becca) Anderson, Lauren (Zach) Jackson, Wes (Allison) Adams, Rachel Adams, Parker Adams, Alex (Jake) Robertson, and Joseph Adams; great-grandfather to Haddi and Hayes Anderson and Yates and Kovie Jackson; he is also survived by his sister Doris (Frank) Daniel and many nieces and nephews. Joe was born in Madisonville, KY. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Horticulture. He worked 40 years in the agrichemical industry before retiring to the farm in Pegram, TN. There he raised cattle and gardening was his passion. His favorite times were spent with family during get togethers and following the activities of grandchildren and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Belle Meade United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 17, 2023 from 10 am to 1pm with funeral service 1pm-2pm and burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memorial Garden.
