Joe Russell Hand, Sr., age 80 of Nashville, TN went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2015.

Joe was born in Nashville, TN on September 26, 1934 to the late Burl & Marie Hand.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Hand.

Survivors include his children, Joe (Fiancée, Sherry Beck) Hand, Rebecca (Ronald) Cathey, Debra (Jeff) Smith, Pamela (Gary) Love, Timothy Hand & Jason Bowls; grandchildren, Andrew, Josh Tabitha, Shenah, Brian Brandy, Crystal, Anthony, Gary Jr. Ethan, Megan, Bryanna & Brittany; great-grandchildren, Cheyanna , Breannon, Savannah, Kalie, Nathan, Lexus, Dalton, British, London, Christaynna, Harmony, Wyatt & Aubry.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Joe's life will be conducted on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm with a visitation starting at 12:00 pm.
