Age 85 of Pegram, TN, surrounded by his loving family, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 10, 2014.
Joe was born in Rutherford Co. TN on February 20, 1928 to the late Joe and Gracie McGaw. Joe was a minister of the gospel for several mid-Tennessee church's of Christ.
Survived by his loving wife of 55 years Alma J. Warf McGaw, sons; James (Jenine) Pace Jr., Christopher (Lori) Pace, brother; Roy (Martha) McGaw, grandsons; Daniel (Rachel) Pace and Matthew Pace, granddaughter; Diana (Josh) Conner, great grandson; Harrison Pace.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Joe's life will be conducted on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM with a visitation from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens with military honors.
