Age 85, of Nashville, passed away May 14, 2018.
Joe was hardworking, kind and thoughtful person. He founded the Joe Taylor Artist Agency company in 1964 after a brief stint working for the Wilburn Brothers. Before that he served as the advertising director for the Martha White Flour Co. Booking some of the biggest legends in country music; Joe slowly built a company that became a mainstay in the entertainment industry. He was a well-liked and hardworking man that traveled all over the world for his clients. He served as President of various boards, with R.O.P.E. and Rock Island Farms to name a couple. He also served honorably in the United States Army reaching the rank of Captain.
Preceded in death by his wife, Delores Joanne Taylor. Survived by his children: Lisa (Woody) Easterling and Brent Taylor; grandchildren: Selena Foutch and Joseph (Allie) Ellis; great grandchildren: Anna Grace Foutch, Olivia Foutch and Claire Foutch; long-time friend, Doug Leatherwood; several extend family members.
A Life Celebration will be held 2:30, Tuesday May 22nd at The Pavilion at Harpeth Hills. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30pm on Tuesday.
