Joey (Joseph) Todd Henry age 56, born on August 9, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio passed from this life February 23, 2022 after an extended illness. Joey was born and raised in Ohio and moved to Antioch, TN. shortly after his mothers death in 1984.
Joey graduated from Volunteer State Community College and continued his education afterword. He enjoyed teaching at various elementary schools in the Nashville area.
Joey was preceded in death by his life partner, Rob White and his parents, Gene and Morene Henry and sister, Patty Jackson.
His is survived by his ten siblings, Marcia (Buddy) Ross, Debbie (Joe) Menninger, Gene Douglas Henry, Terry Aden Henry, Estelle (Bud) Tufts, Ricky (Debbie) Henry, Mary K. Orona, Karen (Dave) Naudin, Robin Hill and Kim (Mike) Boal, twenty-three nieces and nephew, forty-six great nieces and nephews also one great great nephew.
Joey enjoyed going to the beach at St. George Island, Sea Side Florida and the Casino. He always looked forward to dining at his favorite Mexican restaurant where he thought the only thing on the menu was tamales. His favorite past time was cross word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and loving on his fur babies, Cooper and Cabot. He also enjoyed cook outs and spending time with Lew and Marsha Jones and many of his neighborhood friends.
Some of the most influential people to Joey was his brother-in-law, Buddy Ross and sister, Marcia Ross.
A memorial gathering will begin Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 12:30 pm until the Celebration of Life service at 2:30 pm at The Pavilion at Harpeth Hills, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN. 37221.
