John Burton Duncan, age 80 of Nashville, passed away December 15, 2016 at Grace Health Care in Franklin.

Mr. Duncan was born February 28, 1936 in Nashville and was the only child of the late Herod Burton and Sara Edine Head Duncan. He was a graduate of Cohn High School and attended Belmont University. He was a self-employed Real Estate Agent and Broker for many years, served in the United States Naval Reserves and was a member of the Bellvue Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife: Beverly Duncan; three children: Mark (Benicia) Duncan, Terri (Eric) Moss and Jennifer (Jeff) Harris; 6 grandchildren: Connor Moss, Lauren Harris, Ian Moss, Jordan Harris, Blair Moss and Cameron Duncan; a nephew: Barry (Kim) Lawrence; and a great-nephew: Colin Lawrence.
