FOOR, John Franklin – Age 66, of Nashville, TN, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012, at his home. He was a 1965 graduate of Muscatine High School in Muscatine, IA. He was an employee of Apex Ventures/Richmeade Complex. He served as a US Marine during the Vietnam War. Preceded in death by parents, John Lewis and Ella Mae Foor; sister, Mary Phillips, of Muscatine, IA. He is survived by wife, Janice Curtis Foor; two sons, John Clinton Donna Foor, of Madison, AL, and Nathan Curtis Ashlee Foor, of Spring Hill, TN; grandchildren, Alayna, Mallory, and Riley Foor; siblings, Robert L. Linda Foor, Charles L. Pat Foor, William S. "Bill" Foor, Carolyn M. Beesley, Joyce L. Payne, Judy L. Randy Townsend, all residents of IA; and Larry E. Connie Foor, of KY. The Life Celebration service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012, at 11am, from the First United Pentecostal Church, 7512 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, with Pastor Ron Becton officiating. Interment will be at the Middle TN Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the First UPC usher staff. Special thanks goes to the doctors and nursing staff of Centennial Hospital, TN Oncology, and Odyssey Hospice for the excellent care provided. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 5-8pm and on Thursday one hour prior to the service.
